Who they are
He is We is made up of Rachel Taylor and Trevor Kelly. They met while working in a music store in their hometown Tacoma Washington. When they came to the realization that they both were talented they began to play small gigs, before signing with Universal Motown Records; a contemporary incarnation of Motown Records.
If you were to place He is We into a Genre of music it would be indie pop. When they began to jam together in the backroom of the Music store, something different and wonderful came to be; with Trevor's hardcore music tastes and Rachel being influenced by the music she grew up on.
"He Is We; the idea that someone who you pass by everyday can influence the rest of your life… and you would never know. It’s the thought and power one person can have over their surroundings."**
